Center for Disease Control
This website has EHDI (Early Hearing Detection and Intervention) programs that are located in states and are designed to identify infants with hearing loss by universal screening. It also gives information on a variety of topics related to deaf and hard of hearing.

Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
The Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DDHH) advocates for people in New Jersey who are deaf or hard of hearing; assists them in numerous ways to gain access to programs, services and information routinely available to people upon request. Although DDHH once was involved primarily with trying to improve employment and vocational opportunities, today it assists people who are deaf and hard of hearing with a host of social, legal, medical, educational and recreational issues.
