Together Shelter Instructional Program

In collaboration with the Together, Inc. Youth Shelter in Glassboro, and Glassboro Public School District, GCSSSD’s Special Projects department offers “pupils at risk” (as defined in NJAC 6:8-1.1) an instructional program for the duration of their stay at the shelter. Instruction is provided by an experienced, certified teacher who provides, at a minimum, one hour of instruction for non-classified students and two hours for special education students, in accordance with code. Services are rendered upon agreement with the student’s district of origin. This arrangement affords districts a practical, effective means of meeting each pupil’s interim educational needs.
