Bankbridge Elementary School 850 Bankbridge Rd. Sewell, NJ 08080 856-415-2045 The Gloucester County Special Services School District Board of Education and the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized the need for a school to be constructed for the growing population of elementary special needs students in Gloucester County. Bankbridge Elementary School was built in 2002, specifically for those students. The primary purpose of this state-of-the-art facility is to educate students who have special needs and require services that are not available in their local school districts. The facility offers its own professional staff, health care area, outdoor recreation facilities, gymnasium/cafeteria, library, and art, music, independent living, and therapy areas. The state-of-the-art classrooms are specially designed to meet the needs of elementary special needs students. Bankbridge Elementary School offers the latest computer technology and is fully wired to meet the computer needs of the twenty-first century student. Most recently, Bankbridge Elementary School has expanded its options for preschool students and has adopted a newer model of providing services for those students with special auditory needs.
