Gloucester County Special Services School District is participating in Roam Secure, an emergency notification system. The system facilitates simultaneous transmission of information via text message, pager, and/or E-mail to phone numbers and addresses that are programmed into the communications system. We are now offering participation in this service to parents/guardians of our students. Please access Roam Secure through www.gloucesteralert.com to register, update, and keep current your contact information.

 

We anticipate that Roam Secure will be an efficient means of communicating. It will be used in circumstances when it becomes necessary to provide many people with information in a limited time frame. For example, the system can be an effective communications tool in crisis management or can be used to inform participants of emergency school closings. Roam Secure will be used to supplement our existing emergency notification procedures and will be valuable in situations when you are away from home and unable to access the school website.

 

The self registration process enables all users to Roam Secure to keep contact information current.
